20 weeks!   Merry Christmas!

Reese got to meet her cousins this weekend!  We were so excited to get the 3 girls together!  Matt and I crashed the Biard Family Christmas, but we were so happy to see Daniel, Randi and the girls.  

Campbell was a bit sleepy from going to be late and waking up early... her tears made Reesie very, very upset.  So, we abandoned the idea of a good picture and settled for this:

ok, so i know i have some serious catching up to do on here... but I had to share this!

Going back to work has really put a damper on my timely blog updates.  Despite being surrounded with family and help... I find myself easily distracted. Here are her weekly photos from the last month!  I cannot believe she is already 16 weeks old.

16 weeks Happy Thanksgiving!

I love this last one, because she found her feet this week and also discovered how to stick out her tongue and blow spit bubbles.  I happened to catch her doing both at the same time!  We went to see Harry Potter on Saturday and during every quiet part of the movie, Reese thought she needed to fill the gaps in noise with her own soundtrack.  She would stick out her tongue and make a very loud "pthtttt" sound, incessantly!

Time flies!

Little Reeser got her baby shots on Wednesday.  While I torture children on a regular basis and almost get a rush out of sticking needles in them, I wasn't so keen on the idea of my little one getting stuck.  I dosed her with tylenol before her appointment and gave it to her every 5 hours all day.  She slept like I had given her some heavy sedatives.  And thankfully, she didn't complain much.  Tylenol + 8 week old = deep sedation.

This weekend, Matt actually had 2 whole days off!  Woo to the hoo!  We went to Grand Lake and stayed at a little bed and breakfast. The weather didn't cooperate, but we still had a nice time.  On Saturday, we went for a hike and it started snowing!  Reese looked like a puff of pink.  I am pretty sure she had on every item of clothing she owns.  We aren't quite ready for winter in the wardrobe department!

I made a few updates to our kitchen.  I would really love to paint the cabinets white, add a backsplash, and update the appliances; but since it isn't our house, I will refrain.
